Hatha Yoga

I am a 200-hour trained yoga teacher and a yogi for 20+ years. Yoga is naturally therapeutic. Individuals who practice yoga report a decrease in stress, anxiety, worry, depressive symptoms, and an increase in self-acceptance, body-love, a calmer mind, more joy, and strengthen mindfulness.
What is Hatha Yoga?
Hatha Yoga is a deeply personal practice that brings together movement, breath, and stillness to support both physical and inner balance. When practiced one-on-one with a teacher, it becomes a space that is entirely yours—tailored to your body, your breath, and your state of mind.
Rooted in tradition, Hatha Yoga focuses on the mindful practice of postures (asanas) and breathing techniques (pranayama). The word “Hatha” itself reflects balance: “ha” meaning sun and “tha” meaning moon—symbolizing the union of opposites and the integration of body and mind.
Working individually with a teacher allows for a slower, more intentional pace. Each session is adapted to meet you where you are—whether you're looking to build strength, find calm, ease tension, or simply reconnect with yourself.
In this one-on-one setting, Hatha Yoga becomes less about performance and more about presence. It’s a practice of awareness, where even the smallest movement or breath can offer meaningful change.
